There is a lot happening this year and next.  I'm going to once again try and post a picture daily for myself.  Here we go! January 1st and it is now a warm 15 degrees at 5 pm. Thank goodness that I've been the only one sick in this house but for a whole week.  The cold weather doesn't help.  So the first day of 2015 is COLD!  

The daylilies are starting to bloom

Day 2...Mom's Log!  Just kidding.  After our heavy but much needed rain last night, we are ready to start redoing the seats in our new (to us) boat. But this morning brings a picture of the gorgeous storm clouds from late yesterday afternoon. 

Ok, so this is Brendan doing what he does best - messing with my phone.  This is late at might and most of the lights were off in the living room.  The main light is from the phone reflecting back into his face. I want to show you (mom) the difference between shooting on auto and using the flash (the first picture - yuck) and using manual so you can capture something like the shot on the bottom with no flash.  Isn't it much nicer?

Hello Again

Let's start this blog over, shall we...
Easy way to communicate without all the extra everything of FB - I want to throw stuff out there and hopefully my mom or anybody else can look at it and go Oh, I see what's happening there.  If not, then I will just consider this a personal journal that holds me accountable to everything that is important to me.  My family, my love of photography and digital loveliness, and the return of getting into serious shape. The main goal just for me personally...1 new photo every day! Let the daily life in the Gonzales world begin...
